I am a Staff Algorithm Engineer at Neural Propulsion Systems. Previously, I worked at Samsung in San Diego as a Senior Research Engineer. My interests include coding theory, combinatorics, probability, machine learning, and sensor fusion.

I received the Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Caltech under Prof. Babak Hassibi in 2020 and 2016 respectively. In my thesis, I proved the GM-MDS conjecture. I received the B.S. degree in electrical and electronics engineering in 2015 from Bilkent University, where I worked as an undergraduate researcher with Prof. S. S. Kozat.

I am also an IMO medalist in the 51st International Mathematical Olympiad in 2010.
